Reading Hebrew for Life

The primary focus of Legends 1-3 Pink, Peach, and Lime is to develop Hebrew reading skills for life.

The primary focus is the Aleph bet letters, Nekudot, and Reading skills.

Legends’ ingenious and unique techniques allow children to read with meaning, whilst maintaining the Mesorah method of kamatz aleph ah/oh.

Each legend also contains the 4 strands of Hebrew language acquisition i.e. reading, writing, listening, and speaking, building on these skills from Aleph.

Children will acquire Hebrew vocabulary, that form foundations for whole language. They will read with comprehension; words, stories and prayers in the context of Shabbat and their contemporary lives as young Jewish boys and girls.

Lime consolidates reading, as children immerse in a Tefillah-Prayer comprehension program.

These are skills that will retain and inspire for a lifetime.

Hebrew Language with Relevance

In Violet, children have achieved confident reading comprehension skills, and now journey to further develop their whole language skills.

Vocabulary and grammar, are implemented, enabling children to immediately utilize Hebrew in their daily lives.

The content is meaningful and relevant, embedded with rich Torah values, Middot, Mitzvot, and lessons on the Chagim.

Children learn and live the Holidays through our rich and holy language. They familiarize themselves with songs, blessings, traditions, and a wealth of practical Jewish knowledge for their everyday lives in the diaspora. Lessons are enjoyable, applicable, and full of Jewish heart and soul.
